SALWAR KAMEEZ PATTERN-3

This is another suit designed by me. Fabric is of cotton with beautiful embroidered kairi motifs. Salwar(bottom) is of golden color.

Neck is V shaped with golden border is attached to it. Taken from the fabric of kurta two kairi motifs have been attached to the net sleeves, back side of kurta a cloth from salwar has been attached, round neck has been decorated with golden sequins again a kairi has been attached on back, on the joining point thin golden lace has been attached the pattern gives this kurta a readymade look.

Golden dupatta is also decorated with same motifs. The seller had informed me that the fabric of kurta is of pure cotton. it can be dyed to any darker shade in future without spoiling the work and shine of motif.

HAND BAG

Searching through google images for cloth bags I found so many interesting designs of handbags and they inspired me to create one for myself. I had a leftover darkgreen piece of cloth(cotswool) from with I decide to make bag. Inner lining of bag is of black color cotton. Thin foam sheet has been placed in between matching green Zari border , decorative hanging and center piece(from my old bag) are main attraction of this bag.

Step by step instructions for bag are as below:

• U shaped 2 pieces of green cloth, 2 pieces of black cloth & 2 pieces of foam sheet measuring                                       .14"X12"
• Strip for attaching U shaped pieces 3"    Wide and  32"   length for joining.(inner side black cloth foam is not required)
•   34"    Strip with border attached to it for hanging and  cut 5"    for front  flap and keep aside.
• Inner part is simple and self explanatory with 2 pockets. It has to be placed in the darkgreen cloth . 
• Take one piece of green cloth and foam sew them together, sew eight straight lines horizontally and vertically on it.
• For the wrong side take one piece of green cloth and foam sew them together make a straight line for proper positioning of foam.
• After preparing the 2 pieces take    cloth with foam and sew from one end to another from both sides this will make the main body of bag.
• Add decorative hanging to the  the strip with Zari border from both sides sew it with main body of bag from both sides..
• Attach 1"  piece velcro with  front flap.
